We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).

The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025, so there is no ODR link to give you. If you have a complaint, write to us at the address above — we would much rather hear it directly.

Liability for content

We write the place descriptions on this site by hand and check them as carefully as we can, but travel information ages. Opening hours change, restaurants close, and a shrine that was quiet last year may not be. Nothing here is a guarantee that a place is open, accessible or as described — check before you travel.

KiyanoGo links to sites we do not operate: hotel and flight searches, activity and connectivity partners, map data and our companion app. We have no control over what those sites contain or how they change, and we are not responsible for their content.
