Hōzenji Yokochō
法善寺横丁
Namba, Osaka · 大阪
Two flagstone lanes behind Dotonbori, lined with small traditional restaurants and centred on a tiny temple whose statue is entirely covered in moss from being splashed by visitors.
Why it’s worth it
It is sixty seconds from the busiest street in Osaka and completely different in tone. Eat here rather than on the canal.
