A 1963 steel-cord plant converted whole — the machine hall is now an exhibition space, with a large bookshop, a craft brewery, a coffee roaster and a bamboo garden inside.

Why it’s worth it

The conversion kept the crane rails and the concrete floor, and the bamboo courtyard at the back is genuinely beautiful. Free to walk through.
