Gamcheon Culture Village
감천문화마을
Saha-gu, Busan · 부산
A dense hill settlement founded by refugees during the Korean War, painted and reworked with art installations from 2009 onward, with houses stepping down toward the sea.
Why it’s worth it
The famous view is from one specific terrace and the queue for it moves fast. The better hours are before ten or after four, and the back lanes away from the main route are still ordinary and lived-in.
