The largest beach on the east coast, a long straight stretch of pale sand with a pine windbreak behind it and a lake immediately inland.
Why it’s worth it
East-facing, so the sunrise is the event — and unlike Jeongdongjin, there is room for everybody. The pine path behind the dunes is the better walk.
