A flat island in the Bukhan river at Gapyeong, given over to campsites, flower fields and, each October, the Jarasum Jazz Festival across several outdoor stages.

Why it’s worth it

It is a fifteen-minute walk from Gapyeong station and free to enter outside festival weekends. In autumn the silver grass field covers most of the island.
