Jayu Park

자유공원

Jung-gu, Incheon · 인천

A hillside park laid out in 1888 between Chinatown and the Japanese concession, looking down over the harbour, with a colonnade and cherry trees along the ridge.

Why it’s worth it

The staircase down its western side has Chinese lions on one side and Japanese lanterns on the other — the concession boundary, still marked.
