Nodeul Island

A small island mid-river beneath Hangang Bridge, redeveloped in 2019 into a low complex of live-music rooms, a bookshop, a plant shop and a wide lawn on the water.

Why it’s worth it

Free outdoor concerts most summer weekends, with the river on both sides and the bridge overhead. Easily the best sunset seat in central Seoul.
