Yangjae Citizen’s Forest

A thickly planted forest park in the south of the city — zelkova, ginkgo and pine grown close together, with paths cut through rather than around them.

Why it’s worth it

In the first half of November the ginkgo path here is completely yellow overhead and underfoot, and it is a fraction as busy as the palaces.
