Kita-Kamakura, Kamakura · 鎌倉
A temple in the northern valley known for a circular window framing its rear garden, and for hydrangeas so uniformly blue the place is called the hydrangea temple.
Why it’s worth it
Queue for the round window — everyone photographs it, and it is genuinely as good as the photographs. The back garden opens only in June and November.
