A wooded mountain in the middle of Seoul, with several paths to the summit, restored Joseon beacon towers at the top and the tower above them.
Why it’s worth it
The north path from Namsangol takes about forty minutes, is entirely shaded and free, and gives you the view the cable car queue is paying for.
