Seonyudo Park
선유도공원
Yangpyeong, Seoul · 서울
An island in the Han whose 1978 filtration plant was not demolished but replanted — the settling tanks became sunken gardens and the columns now hold vines.
Why it’s worth it
It is one of the best pieces of landscape architecture in Asia and almost no visitors reach it. Cross the pedestrian bridge from the north bank at sunset.
