A jazz bar at the top of Kenzō Tange’s Shinjuku Park Tower, glazed on three sides, looking out over the whole western skyline. It reopened in December 2025 after a renovation that deliberately left the room itself alone.
Why it’s worth it
Almost every interior in Lost in Translation was shot here, and you do not need to be a hotel guest to come up — there is a cover charge after 20:00 when the music starts. Ask for a window table on the west side.
