Oil Tank Culture Park

문화비축기지

Sangam, Seoul · 서울

A sealed 1970s fuel reserve behind World Cup Stadium, decommissioned and reopened in 2017 — the tanks now hold a concert hall, an exhibition space and a glass pavilion.

Why it’s worth it

The rock face where the tanks were cut out of the hillside is left raw. Free, strange, and usually empty on a weekday.
