Tokyo Tower
東京タワー
Shibakoen, Tokyo · 東京
A 333-metre lattice tower painted international orange, opened in 1958, thirteen metres taller than the Eiffel Tower it was modelled on and considerably lighter.
Why it’s worth it
Skytree has the height; this has the city’s affection and a far better silhouette after dark. The main deck is enough — the top deck is not worth the upgrade.
