Nakanoshima Park
中之島公園
Nakanoshima, Osaka · 大阪
Osaka’s first public park, on the eastern tip of the island that splits the Dōjima and Tosabori rivers, with a large rose garden and the 1918 red-brick Central Public Hall.
Why it’s worth it
In May the rose garden opens and the whole island smells of it. The public hall is one of the best Taishō-era buildings left in Japan.
