Sumida Park Riverside
隅田公園
Asakusa, Tokyo · 東京
A long strip of park either side of the Sumida, planted with several hundred cherry trees and pointed straight at the Skytree.
Why it’s worth it
It is the free version of the view everyone queues for, and in early April it is the best hanami in eastern Tokyo. Walk the Asakusa bank going north.
